Question 4 "kings shadow" blog

The most interesting sentence in this book that made me ponder was "They only stood by his side for the gold". As said by the leader of a band of english soldiers after killing the enemies leader as the enemies had fled. The reason why i am blogging about this is that this statement is true even in our time. Greed has spread like a dark storm cloud engulfing many humans. Money has gotten into the minds of many. It is as if we have lost humanity. The more you have, the more you want.

When My Name Was Keoko 0-14 blog

1.Why were Tae-yul and Sun-hee puzzled by Uncle's seemingly new attitude toward the Japanese occupiers?

Because when they saw him react to the order of changing their name to Japanese. He threw a fit and hit their radio.

2.Why did Sun-hee think that Tomo had come to visit her? What was the reason that he had come?

To begin with she could tell he was nervous and did not want to say something straight forward but then she realized he had come to warn her about her Uncle being in danger.

3.How did Sun-hee and the other members of the Kim family react to the new law that was declared by the Emporer of Japan? Why did they react that way ?

They reacted with anger such as hitting the radio yelling filling up with rage. Because they had to change their name they will ruin a long tradition of their last name for many years.
